Pioneer Valley Premiere: The Honey Land

Saturday, June 23, 7pm ONE NIGHT ONLY

Northampton Center for the Arts, 17 New South St.

Tickets: $7 Advance (Contact: terreunite@gmail.com), $10 Door.

Reservations suggested.

The Honey Land is part installation, part performance, using video, soundscape and organic art forms to create a place out of time that inspires new ways of being together and experiencing the environment.

Artistic Director Terre Unité Parker (a former company member with Anna Halprin) leads an interdisciplinary team of collaborators from New England, Canada, and California.

The evening begins with a brief introductory workshop, before participants embark on a guided tour of the installation and discover the creatures (dancers) in the landscape. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

The installation includes a 50-foot-long paper “river” constructed from a generous donation from the Southworth paper company in Turner’s Falls, MA.

Please consider a donation to support this innovative project. Check out our fundraising video.
