Darya began her work with C3 Northampton as an amazing intern, and continued on to join the collective in 2012, serving as a board member and Director of Public Projects. Her work to implement a new public art project in Northampton’s Ward 3 neighborhood in 2012 culminated in the design and installation of a new 128-foot mural on North Street. In collaboration with residents of Ward 3, and with support from the Ward 3 Neighborhood Association and Northampton Arts Council, Darya and three other C3 artists created a lasting, beautiful tribute to the soundscape of the surrounding neighborhood.
