Roots to Resistance is looking for 6-8 women to read the spoken words of the 12 amazing Women Activists of the Roots To Resistance Project. This will be a fund raising event which is meant to bring the words and the work of these 12 profoundly important Women to our community here in Western Massachusetts. In these amazing times of popular, grass roots resistance, these 12 Activists present us with 12 different paths of resistance, resilience, and action. By sharing their tremendous stories we hope to inspire new people to take their first steps into the uprisings of the future.

Roots to Resistance is a project of artist Denise Beaudet. The event will be directed by Rachel and Pam Hannah who have run the local Vagina Monologues for many years and will bring an amazing spark to the project!
