Permaculture offers us skills, tools, solutions and strategies for\u00c2\u00a0healing social and ecological systems. It is a vision, design\u00c2\u00a0system, and global movement that draws on patterns and principles found\u00c2\u00a0in nature to meet human needs, while regenerating the natural world.<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n
This 88-hour permaculture design certificate course goes beyond the standard 72- hour course to give participants a\u00c2\u00a0comprehensive understanding of permaculture principles &\u00c2\u00a0ethics; design processes, methodologies & tools; and how they can be\u00c2\u00a0applied to create regenerative human systems including food, housing, energy, communities, and economies.<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n
The course centers around experiential learning and hands-on skill building\u00c2\u00a0including local field trips where we will see theory in action. It\u00c2\u00a0concludes with a design practicum, where participants will work together<\/div>\n
to create a design for a half acre urban homestead.<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n
This course is structured in twelve weekend day sessions with some evening sessions, allowing full-time workers, students and\u00c2\u00a0people with families more flexibility to participate. Successful\u00c2\u00a0completion of this course will earn participants an internationally\u00c2\u00a0recognized Permaculture Design Certificate.<\/div>\n
